“We give thanks to God always for all of you, constantly mentioning you in our prayers, remembering before our God and Father your work of faith and labor of love and steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.” The Holy Bible: English Standard Version. (2001). (1 Th 1:2–3). Wheaton: Standard Bible Society.
Every Thursday morning pastors and members of Redeemer Lutheran Church join together in intercessory prayer. We pray for the members of Redeemer individually. We pray for our community, country and the people of the world. Our group is open to everyone. We would love to have you join us. We meet at 10 a.m. in the churches office. If you would like us to pray for you contact us through the phone, email (pastormark@redeemerofinterlochen.com) or fill out the form below.
“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us – whatever we ask – we know that we have what we asked of Him.” 1 John 5:14-15
Our congregation performs a ministry of intercessory prayer through its prayer chain. In James 5 we read, “The prayer of the faith shall save the sick.” It is a real privilege to intercede with God on the behalf of others! It also brings great blessings! God has promised to hear and to answer! A ministry of intercessory prayer is a service of love in which anyone, regardless of age or health, can participate.
